Nano-Varnishes

FEW coatings contain nanoparticles which are created by hydrolysis and condensation of alkoxides (sol-gel-technology).

Nano-coatings are obtained by combination of silanes, metal alkoxides and addition of pigments, additives and/or organic polymers for layers with most different properties.

Nano-coating on metal, plastic or glass combines special surface features with decorative appearance while maintaining the original haptic perception.

Nano-coatings are economic and resource ecological. Depending on the roughness of the underground a coating thickness of <1 to 5 microns can be achieved with 1K nano-varnishes by spraying, dipping or flowing. Layer thicknesses from 1 to approx. 30 microns can be applied with 2K nano-varnishes.
